While looking at the Kawasaki KLX in the motorbike shop on Sukhumvit in pattaya, he picked up a brochure for tracks n trails pattaya dirt bike tours and decided the best way to make up his mind was to come along and test one of our KLX 250`s.<br \/>\nNico struggled to set off having nearly no experience of using a clutch so a little bit of tuition was the order for 15 minutes or so, he quickly got the hang of things and as soon as his confidence was up off we set.<br \/>\nThe trail ride went well and Nico had a huge smile under the helmet, he got around the whole course even managing a bit of very soft sand.<br \/>\nI think Nico will be visiting the Kawasaki show room quite soon.<\/p>\n<p>Here is what Nico had to say:<\/p>\n<pre>MOOIE TOCHT EN LEERZAAM.\r\nEen kennis van me in Phuket heeft een klx250 Kawasaki en is daar erg blij mee, ook\r\nvoor het rijden over de weg. Veel grip en geen last van zijn rug en erg wentbaar.\r\nUiteindelijk besloten om er ook 1 te kopen ging ik de bij de Kawasaki dealer naar\r\nbinnen. Voor dat ik hem koop wil ik echter wel rijles hebben, ik heb mijn thaaise\r\nmotorrijbewijs, maar nooit op een grotere brommer gezeten dan zo'n Thaaise scooter.\r\nDe winkel verwees me naar Jonny van www.tracksntrailspattaya.com Daar ga je off the\r\nroad en kan je de motor leren beheersen. Nadat Jonny instructies had gegeven, hoe ik\r\nmoest zitten, rijen en hoe de motor werkte wilde we weg rijden van zijn zaak. Plop,\r\nmotor af. Starten, plop, motor af enzovoort. Dat is even wennen met een\r\nhandkoppeling en een beetje bang om teveel gas te geven, ja dan lukt het niet. eerst\r\ndan maar op het veldje bij Jonny. Met de instructies van Jonny en wat gevoel vond ik\r\nde weg om de motor aan te houden en wat rondjes te rijden. ik voelde mij al snel\r\nredelijk op mijn gemak.\r\nVervolgens een schitterende tocht gemaakt ten oosten van Pattaya. Ik wist niet dat\r\ner zoveel paden door haast onbewoonde gebieden waren. Jonny neemt je mee langs\r\nannanasvelden, palmbomen, afgegraven meertjes, vergezichten. We zien vele vogels,\r\nwaaronder een paar grotere roofvogels. Uiteraard mis ik nog een hoop, want ik moet\r\nmijn motor in bedwang houden, takken ontwijken en ik ga van links naar rechts door\r\nhet losse zand. Aan het eind van de 3 uur voel ik me vertrouwd met de motor. De\r\nvolgende dag heb ik de motor gekocht, op de weg rijden is nu gemakkelijk. Het was\r\neen spectaculaire tocht, spannend, mooi en leerzaam.
